с 1900 г. — Т.2012
с 1912 г. — Ь.2012 (Ьк.2012)
Работал в депо Рославль до 1985 г., после чего был там-же установлен памятником
Паровоз попал под распоряжение №2380Р от 23.11.2012 "О сохранении и восстановлении работоспособности паровозного парка ОАО «РЖД»", как подлежащий включению в инвентарный парк и восстановлению до рабочего состояния
В марте 2016 г. перевезён в депо Подмосковная
Восстановлен в августе 2017 г. силами ООО «Ретросервсис» (депо СПб-Сортировочный-Московский).
В сентябре 2017 был участником динамической экспозиции на Expo1520. Ныне самый старый действующий паровоз в инвентарном парке ОАО «РЖД»
