Title
09BED8d Medieval seal
Description
English: A post-medieval copper alloy seal matrix. The object is actually four circular pendant matrices arranged in a cross shape. One of the seals is now missing but the three that survive have different designs. One appears to show a swan, one a fleur de lis and the last possibly shows a rose? The object has a circular hole at the centre of the cross, presumably for suspension. The arms forming the cross have an oval cross section and the whole object has a brownish patina.
