Creaghe Training Support Center in Fort Drum, N.Y. Creaghe served in the 10th Mountain Division during WWII, and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his actions during the battle on Mt. Della Spe, Apennine Mountain Range, Italy. “Lt.
