Description
English: Marines return from a rehearsal prior to executing the culminating event of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Combined Arms Exercise 2016 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., June 16. The final event included Light Armored Vehicles, Amphibious Assault Vehicles, M1A1 Abrams tanks, 7-ton Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement trucks, AH-1Z Cobras, UH-1Y Hueys, and an AV-8B Harrier from the MEU’s Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, Combat Logistics Battalion 11, and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced) respectively. MEUCAX offers the only opportunity to execute battalion-level live-fire combined arms training prior to deploying later this year.
