New Tea Rose * White Bougere.' A lovely new Tea Rose, A sport from that famous old variety, Bougere. For open ground ))laiitinf; it has no superior. The flowers are unusually large, deep, full, and double; long, stiff stems, and borne throughout the season in great abundance. The color is )nire ivory-white, very beautiful, and a particularly good rose for gen- eral planting. Price 15 cents each; large two.year.old plauts, 40 cents each. NEW YELI.OW SUNSET-COLORED HYBRID TEA ROSE * Mile. Germaine Trochon.' An everblooming, hardy yellow Rose. Among the manj'new roses imported by us of late years there are none, in our opinion, which are liable to have a wider popularity than this. It is an entirely new color in tlie hybrid tea class, and it has proven hardy in our climate. The best description we could give of the rose is that giveji to the Tea Rose " Sunset," which we introduced some years ago, and which created a profound sensation. Technically de- scribed, it is orange-yellow, with shades of buff, fawn, and light yellow; the interstices between the petals show depths of coloring approaching what is veiy frequently Been in our sunset skies, and which originally suggested the name for the " Sunset " Rose. We believe it will be largely planted when our patrons know of Its great beauty. The color is a remarkable thing, creamy white, tinted with orange-yellow, on a deep ground. The petals are large, wax- like, each broadly margined with bright carmine-crimson. The border is two or three times as wide as that found on any other of the older varie- ties of Tulip Roses. The flowers are very large, ex- quisitely formed, and per- fectly double; fragrance delightful. Avery profuse bloomer, and a strong, healthy grower; seems im- pervious to alJ diseases. Will be nrominent as a bedder or as a pot plant. It is unsurpassed for cut- ting, excites wonderful ad- miration whenever seen. We want every planter to try this grand new Rose.
