Description |
English: Cast copper alloy double looped buckle length 29mm, width 37mm, thickness 10mm, weight 11.62g. Each frame is trapezoid with the narrow end in the centre loop the corners on one end of the buckle have two projections with roundel terminals. The centre of the buckle is encrusted in iron corrosion, this is all that remains of the pin. Similar examples have been recorded on the database ESS-040905 and are dated to the 17th century. |
