English: Sgt. Michael Beard, the chief scout sniper with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, instructs how to plot points for an eight-digit grid during a land navigation class in preparation for the scout sniper platoon screener, Oct. 14, 2015, at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
