Description A fragment of circular-sectioned, slender gold bar chopped from a larger piece; probably scrap.

Discussion The piece is undiagnostic and cannot be assigned to a chronological or cultural context.

As such it fails to qualify as Treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act 1996.
