Medieval to Post-Medieval 1500-1650 
42mm long, 26mm wide, 2mm thick

Double looped buckle. The loops are oval, the forward edge of each frame is pointed and behind the point is a hole (3mm diameter). The strap bar is narrowed and there is a hole (3mm diameter) at either end. The outside edge of the buckle is serrated.

The artefact is copper alloy and has been silvered.

The artefact has a silvery-dark grey patina, there are patches (mainly on leading edges) there copper corrosion is coming through.
