Description
English: Cast copper allot socketed axe blade length 21mm, width 46mm, thickness 11mm, weight 29.16g. this is the wedge shaped tip of a Late Bronze Age socketed axe. This has a curved forward edge that appears to have been resharpened at some point during its use. From the tips of the blade the body sharply narrows to the central section. This has been truncated at the base of the socket. Date 1100-800
