English: A Nevada Army National Guard 1/189 Aviation Company CH-47 Chinook helicopter takes off from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., April 15, 2011. The NANG were at Nellis to support a one day airdrop and sling load exercise for the 820th Red Horse Squadron's airborne flight. The airborne flight are different than the rest of the Red Horse squadron in that members are airborne qualified and use much lighter specialized equipment. |
