RADISH. All the varieties thrive best in alight sandy loam. Forearly use, sow in the hot-hi d in February, giving plenty ofventilation, or outside in drills as soon as the soil caii begotten in order, covering the seed about half an inch deep. Sow every two weeksfrom March to September, for a succession : they musl grow rapidly to lie crisp, mildand tender. One ounce sows 100 feet of drill, 8 to 10 pounJs for an acre. EARLY SCARLET CLOBE—One of the earliest and best Varieties fopforcing; itscolor is very handsome; flavor mild: crisp and juicv: stands a great amount of healwithout becoming pithy; good for garden culture.
