Description |
English: Flint pebble awl, triangular in plan and plano-convex in profile. The distal end has been retouched and worked into a piercer. It is a grey cream in colour with a burnt crazed broken cortex covering 1-49% of the surface area.
Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 146, Fig. 5.132, No. 46 which is dated to the late Neolithic period. |
