Description
English: Flint awl, round in plan and lozenge shaped in profile. The left margin, proximal end and lower right margin appear snapped. The upper left, distal and upper right margins are retouched into possible use as an awl and scraper. It is opaque pale grey cream in colour with iron stains on the lower left margin.

Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 111, Fig. 44, No. 12 which is dated to the Mesolithic period.
