Description
English: Flint iron-stained pebble awl, tear-drop shaped in plan and almost triangular in profile. The right margin has a hinge fracture and the left margin is roughly fractured. The distal tip has been retouched. On the ventral side the upper left margin and distal tip have been retouched. It is grey brown in colour and the cortex is dark cream covering 1-49% of the surface area.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 135, Fig. 5.121, No. F. 57 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
