Description
English: Flint awl, sub-pentagonal in plan and section, and lozenge in profile. Retouch on the left edge on the dorsal face to shape the point at the distal end. Snapped at the proximal end on the right edge. The flint is grey colour with cream flecks.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 135, Fig. 5.121, No. F57, which is dated to the earlier Neolithic.
