Description
English: Flint awl, star shape in plan, plano-convex in profile and section. Bulb removed on the ventral face, with retouch to the right and left edge to shape a point at the distal end. The flint is translucent brown colour.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 121, Fig. 5.105, No. 94, which is dated to the later Mesolithic, earlier Neolithic.
