Description |
English: A late Bronze Age – Iron Age pottery body sherd (1150BC-AD100). The body sherd is from an oxidised hand made vessel. The external surface is red/brown and the core and internal surface is grey. The fabric has frequent large flint and burnt flint inclusions that are ill sorted and there is also some mica present. The surface and the breaks are very abraded.
