A Bronze age copper alloy awl.
Description
English: A cast copper alloy awl or tracer dating to the Bronze Age. The centre, which is the thickest part is square in section. From the centre to the blunt end the awl narrows and becomes circular in section. In the other direction from the centre, the awl narrows to a chisel shape with a flat rounded end. The awl is 61.5mm long, 6.1mm wide, 5.9mm thick and weighs 12g.
