Description
English: A Merlin of 824 Naval Air Squadron (NAS), carrying out a high-line transfers from the deck of HMS Ark Royal.

824 NAS are based out of RNAS Culdrose, Cornwall. The squadron were embarked onboard HMS Ark Royal, an aircraft carrier, conducting flight training, during Exercise Armatura Borealis 08. The Exercise was conducted within the Arctic Circle off the coast of Northern Norway.
