Description
English: A Post Medieval cast lead alloy heart-shaped token, 17th century. The bifaced token has been cast with a raised design on each side. The other side of the token contains a far more prominent design of three large annulets, one in each of the lobes of the heart and the last in the lowest triangular field, with a further three smaller annulets arranged in a line horizontally between them. Each of the large annulets contains a central pellet surrounded by a ring of six more pellets. The trio of smaller annulets in the central field of the token each contain one central pellet. The token has a dark grey-black patina and is worn. Dimensions: length: 17.09mm; width: 16.23mm; thickness: 1.42mm; weight: 1.45g.
