A Post Medieval copper alloy trapezoidal buckle.
Description
English: A Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle. The buckle has moulded knops at either end of the pin bar and is bevelled on the inside of the frame. c.1570-1700 AD. a very similar example can be seen in Whitehead number 506. The buckle is 25.5mm long, 14.8mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.5 grams.
