Description
English: A fragment of copper alloy Trumpet type brooch (1st-2nd century) (Hattatt 2000, Fig. 185-188). The brooch is corroded and incomplete, only a fragment of the trumpet survives. The trumpet is damaged further with corrosion and chips knocked off it. There seem to be two incised lines along the back of the neck of the trumpet and a loop base by the trumpets mouth, no further decoration is visible.
