There is therefore a sunken wall around three sides ofthe central roof. It consists of columns with Hathorheads, covered by a continuous architrave, and connected belowwith the parapet wall. The accompanying double-))age illustration(Plate XIII.) shows in the middle distance a great, but unfor-tunately very much disfigured, head of Hathor, with the horns of acow decorating the solar disk.
