Title
a medieval lead token
Description
English: A cast lead alloy token, probably of late medieval or early post medieval date, AD1450-1600. It is uniface and roughly circular. The upper side carries the design of a plain cross, reaching to the edge of the token, with a single pellet in each angle. This is probably intended to refer to coin designs (Powell type 14b). The underside is flat and undecorated. It is 21.7mm in diameter and 3.3mm thick. It weighs 6.53gm.
