Title
A post-medieval copper alloy button dating to the 17th century.

English: A post medieval copper alloy button dating to the 17th century. The button is biconvex with the front being significantly more convex than the back, which is almost flat. There is no decoration on the surface. It has an integral rounded shank on the back. There is a small hole at the point where the shank meets the body which indicates that this object is hollow, much like other known examples of this type (Read, 2005, no. 373).

Dimensions: length: mm; 17.05 diameter: 14.07 mm; weight: 3.68g.
