Title
a post medieval double loop buckle
Description
English: A cast copper alloy, double loop, trapezoidal buckle with moulded decoration on the loops, dating from AD 1620-1680. The ends of the loops are pointed and there is a lobed protrusion at each end of the strap bar. The outer edges of the loops are bevelled. The pin is missing. The buckle displays a rough, light green patina. It is 37.6mm long, 21mm wide and 2.4mm thick. It weighs 4.31gm.
