Description
English: Fleuron from book:
A sermon preached at St. Sepulchre's Church; May the 6th, 1736. (the first Thursday after Easter-Week) being the time of the yearly meeting of the children educated in the charity-schools, in and about the cities of London and Westminster. By John Denne, D. D. Archdeacon of Rochester, and Rector of Lambeth. Publish'd at the Request of the Gentlemen concerned in the said Charity. To which is annexed, an account of the origin and designs of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge.
