This figure may ferve as an example of theextreme degree of diftortion of the Pelvis, betweenwhich and the well formed one are many inter-mediate degrees, according to which the difficultyof delivery rauft increafe or diminifh, as well asfrom the difproportion of the Pelvis and head ofthe Foetus ; all which cafes require the greateflcaution, both as to the management and fafetyof the mother and child.
