When the holder H is about to be charged, a hose connectingwith the charging lines from the gas station is attached toa filling valve V, one of these valves being located on each sideof the car, for convenience. Pipes P and P lead from the fill-ing valves to the holder. When the charging is being effectedthrough the valve on the far side of the car, as viewed in thefigure, the gas comes through pipe P, and on through P intothe holder. Afterwards, gas feeds back to the regulator throughpipe P.
