Description: La figure 1, est un Chalut usité en Normandie. On voit en B B la partie supérieure de l'ouverture, encapelée sur un bâton. Trois manoeuvres C C D, servent à traîner le chalut: celle D part du milieu du bâton: les deux autres sont frappées sur des anses de fer, K K; elles se réunissent en E à un funin F. Le bas de l'ouverture est marqué de lettres M M. G, extremité du chalut, qu'on ferme avec un lancet. Fig. 2. Armure de la Drague usitée à Cancalle, pour prendre des poissons plats. Voyes la page 165. Drague surnommée Angloise: dont nous avons représenté en grand avec la lettre B, la genouillette qu'on voit en petit à la bouche du filet. Voyes page 166. Fig. 4. Entrée d'une Drague dont l'armure est toute de fer. On voit en A L A L une peau de bœuf avec son poil; laquelle frottant sur le fond de la mer, sert ainsi à garantir une partie du filet. é Fig. 5, est cette même Drague, vue de côte & entiere. Fig. 7.
