Title
A view in plan of a casket key.
Description
English: The key is a small simplistic one. The handle is a sub-oval shape with a sub-oval hole. The handle shows a lot of wear on the upper edge as if the key has been suspended. The key stem is an oval shape in section. The terminal ofthe stem is hollow. The key bit forms a wide sub '+' shape in plan. The bit tapers towards the bottom edge forming a blunt edge. There are traces of a mid green patina.
