English: Rectangular, rounded corners, featuring man with black hair in black suit, white shirt, blue tie; he stands behind glass counter, holding with right hand a large box of cigars; inscription above reads "Look for the Union Label on the Box." Right side panel inscribed "Compliments of Cigarmakers Union #97, Boston, Mass." in black on orange ground. Left side panel inscribed "Not made by the Trust" in black and red on orange ground. Reverse inscription "Honesty, Skill & Cleanliness, Your Protection, Smoke Union Made Cigars," in black and red on orange ground flanks green facimili of "Union-made Cigars Local Stamp." Lid hinged on side. Striker on bottom. |
