English: Col. Abdulwahab, Afghan National Army (second from left), Maj. Beau Spafford (center), Civil Military Operations, 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard, and officials from the Mehrabudin School and Nili Construction participate in a stand-up interview with a reporter from American Forces Network. They had just participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new school building at the Mehrabudin School in Kabul province on August 10. The new school building will provide much needed classroom space for the more than 9,000 students that attend Mehrabudin School. The school construction, a joint effort by the Ministry of Education, Afghan National Army and U.S. Army, was completed in less than six months. |
