Description
English: Alex Nypl (Newman) standing outside a tent with Pavel Zurek at the Woomera Refugee Camp, 1949. Alex is marked with a black `x' above his head. The inscription `Woomera, 1949 / with Pavel[?] Zurek / Alex Nypl / (Newman)' is handwritten in black ink on the reverse, beneath a blue ink inscription written in Czech. Alex Nypl was a Czechoslovakian migrant who arrived in Melbourne on PROTEA, 23 December 1948.
