To the mind this conveys theimpression that only one image is seen, but that image ap-pears as in relief. By this method we have taken and examined in the PhippsDispensary of the Johns Hopkins Hospital more than threehundred stereoscopic exposures and for practical purposesthese have been very satisfactory. Much of the work hasbeen purely experimental and, as has been said, will be re-ported later.
