English: An English ship in the wind with two others close-hauled

To the right, a starboard broadside view of a small ship in the wind; her fore topsail aback and mizzen and main topsails filled. To the left, a lee bow view of a ship under courses, topsails and spritsail and main topgallant close-hauled on the port tack. Another ship in the left background also on the port tack.

This is a pencil drawing by the Younger, signed ‘W.V.VJ.’
