PERPENDICULAR HOUSES AND CASTLES, 211 The Eedcliffe Church, Bristol, the west front and south porchof Gloucester Cathedral, and part of the choir of St. AlbansAbbey Church, with the tomb of Abbot Wheathampstead, arealso of this period, and good specimens of the style. Withinthe next twenty years we have a crowd of examples, which it isnot necessary to enumerate. But a few more specimens of the later period of this style canhardly be passed over, such as St. Georges Chapel, Windsor,Kings College Chapel, Cambridge, and Henry the SeventhsChapel, Westminster; and of the very latest before the changeof style, Bath Abbey Church, the Savoy Chapel, in the Strand,London, with its very beautiful panelled ceiling, and WhistonChurch, Northants.
