Description |
English: a copper alloy Anglo-Saxon buckle frame. It is complete and D-shaped, measuring 8.76mm in length and 16.24mm in width. The loop width is 3.17mm and the axis is narrowed to 1.78mm in width. It weighs 1.45g. This type of buckle can be classified as a Type I.10d-ii as defined by Marzinzik, and most likely dates to the seventh century AD. |
