Anglo-Saxon copper alloy brooch fragment
Description
English: Copper alloy headplate fragment from a cruciform or small long brooch. The headplate has one surviving wing, which is roughly rectangular. The headplate is decorated with a border of punched crescents. There is an integral lug on the reverse for a hinged pin. The pin is missing however there is iron corrosion around the lug.
