Description |
English: Fragment of an Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy cruciform brooch dating to the sixth century AD. Only the headplate remains. THe headplate is rectangular in plan and has a raised central panel. An integral half-rounded knop is located above; the side knops are missing. The facets of the upper part of the bow are visible. The rest of the brooch is missing. A lug is located on the reverse of the headplate. |
