Anglo-Saxon copper alloy pin
Description
English: Incomplete cast copper alloy pin. The pin has a solid biconical head with a moulded narrow collar below. The shaft is circular in cross-section and bent at approximately 45 degrees shortly after it leaves the head. The head is 8mm in diameter and the stem is 2mm in diameter. Middle Anglo-Saxon, 8th or 9th century.
