The Parochial Church of Taxco, built by Jose de la Borda, was completed in 1757. The stone is of a warm buif color tinned with pink and the carvings are rich, both on the exterior and interior. The National Highway approach to the Aztec Pyramid of the Sun, at San Juan Teutihuacan. This ancient structure, im-pressive in magnitude, is 761 feet by 721 feet at the base and 216 feet high. It dominates a collection of varied Aztecruins so vast in extent as to stagger the imagination. Photograph by the author.
