Description
English: Armoured vehicles roll off a merchant vessel at Marchwood, Hampshire on their return from Afghanistan.

As part of the ongoing redeployment efforts, RoRo ferries containing military vehicles and other equipment being returned to the UK from Op Herrick are arriving at Marchwood Sea Mounting Centre every six to eight weeks.

The cargo of the ferries includes protected mobility vehicles, including Ridgeback, Mastiff, Wolfhound, and the final Jackal vehicles to redeploy from Afghanistan.

The vehicles will later move from Marchwood to Warminster, where further work is carried out to prepare them for future roles or storage.
