English: Runners head for the finish line as they compete the tenth and final mile of the Army Ten Miler "Forward Operating Base Hammer Shadow Run" held, Oct. 4, at Forward Operating Base Hammer, Iraq, outside eastern Baghdad. Paratroopers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, along with fellow service members and civilians took part in the satellite run to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Army's Ten Miler. More than 300 runners at the desert base participated in the event. |
