English: Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Kristina Boettcher applies chicken bones to a Soldier’s arm to simulate a de-gloving injury during Warrior Exercise 86-16 at Fort McCoy, Wis., on July 20, 2016. Boettcher, a licensed practical nurse, says the moulage provides a realistic training injury for WAREX participants where the skin is pulled away to expose bones, muscles and tissues during an incident. Boettcher, an Army medic assigned to 7306th Medical Training Battalion (Training Support), based in San Antonio, Texas, says her team of 50 Soldiers will produce more than 500 simulated injuries during the exercise.
