Description
English: A fragment of a core of mottled brown and dark grey, cream flecked flint.The dorsal surface has complex flake scars, with stepped and feathered terminations. The proximal end is pointed and this has been utilised with additional semi-abrupt retouch on both convergent margins as a piercer or awl. Mercer(1981) illustrates a piercer on page 135, fig 59, L156.
