Description
English: Flint awl, sub triangular in plan and splinter shape in profile. On the dorsal side the distal end is retouched to a point. The proximal end is snapped. The left margin is retouched and the right serrated. The ventral side has retouch near the distal tip. There is also a cavity near the proximal end.

The flint is light grey brown in colouring.

Mercer (1981) illustrates a similar example on page 137, Fig. 60, No. L. 165 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
