Description
English: Flint awl, ovoid in plan and plano convex in profile. The dorsal side has both invasive and unifacial retouch with a notch on the right margin. The proximal end has a small point. On the ventral side the surface has conchoidal ripples.

The flint is semi translucent pale grey in colour.

Mercer (1981) illustrates a similar example on page 137, Fig. 60, No. L. 165 which is dated to the Neolithic period.
