Description
English: An awl or piercer on a pointed triangular flake of dark brown nodular flint. The lower straight left margin is cortically backed and the distal margin is flaked and sharpened from use towards the point. This use damage continues part way down the sharp right margin. Butler(2005) illustrates piercers on page 186, fig 76, 1-5.
